2. Adding a new Tutoring Pack (or editing an existing tutoring pack)

  • After you add an ASAT interaction to your SKO, click on the "Auto Tutor (ASAT)" tab located at the top right of the authoring tool. This will open the ASAT authoring interface.

  • Many of the options here are grayed out and are currently inaccessible by default. The "Agents", "SpeechActs", "RigidPacks" and "Rules" tabs are all populated by default ASAT rules. This allows authors to focus on the TutoringPacks tab, which is where the users will interact with our Tutor agents.

  • By default, a Tutoring Pack (TP) will be preloaded into the authoring tool. You can add a new tutoring pack by clicking on the "Add" button, located immediately to the right of "TP1".

  • You can delete a tutoring pack by selecting the tutoring pack from the drop down menu and then clicking on the "Delete" button.
  • You can rename your tutoring packs by selecting the tutoring pack from the drop down menu and then changing the text in the adjacent text box.
